About Us

We started our company in 1981 with the goal of preparing great food and sending it wherever and whenever our customers needed it to be served. This has taken us to the deserts and the mountains, all over the state of New Mexico, Arizona, Texas and Utah. We've gone to Napa Valley, California to cook for the Mondavi Winery, shipped food across state lines by Federal Express, and sent dinner along with customers leaving town for the holidays. Gardens, rooftops, wine cellars, meadows, opera parking lots, private residences, convention centers, art galleries, and patios... these are our dining rooms. To do all of this there are a variety of services we offer that some people may not be aware of. We are a full service catering business and can supply the necessary equipment to make your event a success. We can also help in planning the entertainment, floral arrangements, security and valet services. We coordinate the entire event.

Making all of this happen takes experience and commitment and we have excellent staff available to make your event as special as you imagined it could be. Guest lists come in all sizes and we are ready to serve them. We cater many gallery events, large scale conventions, weddings, as well as small intimate dinners. Some of our clients stop by and pick up complete dinners or special dishes to complement a meal they are preparing. We also provide delivery services.

Walter Burke Catering prepares all varieties of International, Continental, and Southwest fare. From traditional Southwest Cuisine to intimate European dinners, home style comfort foods or Asian delicacies and exotic Native American menus, the aim is for you to have the memorable Santa Fe experience that you desire. Our sample menus are just a taste of what we offer. And if you have ideas that you don't see represented, we are willing to create a menu designed specially for you.
